HepcoMotion will be showcasing a selection of its industry leading linear motion technology at PPMA Show 2018. Demonstrating the depth of its portfolio aimed at processing and packaging machinery designers, Hepco will be welcoming visitors to stand D40.
Hepco provides an array of high speed and accurate solutions perfect for the processing and packaging industries. Key products on the stand include the highly-regarded GFX Hepco Guidance System for Beckhoff XTS (eXtended Transport System). This solution utilises Hepco’s PRT2 and 1-Trak guidance systems to work with Beckhoff’s XTS circuit linear system to meet the needs of higher duty XTS applications where motion profiles and long-term durability requirements are particularly demanding. The combination of technologies from market leaders Beckhoff and Hepco provides users with a robust, high production and flexible solution that will revolutionise production processes in many manufacturing applications. This system is ideally suited to a range of applications, such as a variable speed lane divider to sort randomly positioned items into separate lanes, or a double-sided system for a compact application that requires multiple motion profiles.
Hepco will also be showcasing its core V guide linear system: GV3. GV3 is designed to serve a diverse range of automation and linear applications and is widely used in the packing industry for applications such as a telescopic pick and place gantry, transport system or multi-lane row divider to name but a few. Highly accurate, GV3 is particularly suitable for high precision applications, or any application where accuracy is paramount. Hepco’s V based bearings have a unique wiping action which expels debris, keeping the machine running and reliable; a key requirement in the fast-paced packaging industry where machine efficiency and throughput is paramount.
Further products on the stand include the DTS2 driven track system – an ideal choice for a food or packaging application that requires high positional accuracy and a demanding duty cycle. DTS2 is ideally suited to form the foundation of an automated production cell, to guide and transfer a component around the system between processes. Widely used to facilitate high speed automation of assembly processes, the DTS2 is well used in the packaging industry.
