Smart Process Implementation Awards
SPI AWards 2020

22nd October 2020, Houses of Parliament

Brought to you by the team behind Controls, Drives & Automation magazine, the Smart Process Implementation Awards will seek to celebrate those companies taking the lead when it comes to digitalisation, smart technology use, connectivity and Industry 4.0.

Nominations are invited from, and on behalf of, end users with current/completed projects, large or small, in the following categories:

3D printing
Condition monitoring/maintenance
Digital twins
Robotics (including cobots)

Entries will be selected/judged against the following criteria:

Application aims/objectives

What did the end user want to achieve with this project, what issues did it seek to address.

Use of Smart innovation/technology

Which technologies have been been implemented and how.

Measurable results

This could be in terms of RoI, improvements in health & safety, increased productivity, environmental benefits.

Overall vision

Overall consideration will also be given to the application in terms of pioneering vision, for example, if the application is the first of its kind in the UK, or the technology has not been previously implemented in this way.

Projects should have taken place within the past 18 months.

All shortlisted entrants will receive two complimentary tickets to the Smart Process Implementation Awards and lunch at the Houses of Parliament on 22nd October 2020. There will also be an option to purchase further tickets.

The event, including details of all shortlisted entries, will be widely publicised by Controls, Drives & Automation across its print, electronic and social media platforms, followed by extensive coverage of the day itself.
