HITEK secures ISO 45001:2018 accreditation

This accreditation specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety management system; it gives guidance to enable HITEK to provide a safe and healthy workplace by preventing work-related injury and ill health. As well as encouraging continual improvements to occupational health and safety performance, eliminating hazards and minimising health and safety risks.

ISO 45001:2018 helps HITEK to achieve the intended outcomes of its occupational health and safety management system, consistent with the company's occupational health and safety policy. The intended outcomes of an occupational health and safety management system include:

• Continual improvement of occupational health and safety performance
• Fulfilment of legal requirements and other requirements
• Achievement of occupational health and safety objectives.

ISO 45001:2018 enables HITEK, through its occupational health and safety management system, to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/well being.
