Certified pump system auditor course
15 August 2015
A mandatory energy assessment and energy saving identification scheme for large undertakings (and their corporate groups) throughout the UK, the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) Regulations 2014 came into force on 17 July 2014.

ESOS Energy Audits have the potential to increase businesses profitability and competitiveness by identifying cost-effective savings which, if implemented, will improve energy efficiency.
Guidance has already been published to help potential participants understand their obligations and within the full ESOS guidance document the ISO/14414-Pump System Energy Assessment standard is referenced as an auditing methodology that can be accepted by "Lead Assessors" approved by the Environment Agency.
The BPMA Certified Pump System Auditor Scheme has established the BPMA as the body to train and certify personnel who undertake "Pumping System Assessments" as referenced in UK Government Energy Strategy documents.
BPMA is now offering the opportunity to attend a four day residential course culminating in certification and the eventual personal ID status of "Certified Pump System Auditor".
The next scheduled residential course will take place on 9th-12th November 2015 at the RezidorPark Inn Hotel, West Bromwich, West Midlands.
