Alicat Scientific now offers its BB9 Communication Module in a USB model....
The BB9-USB replaces the standard RS-232 serial connection, providing a direct computer connection for monitoring and control of Alicat Flow devices.
The BB9 joins up to nine Alicat flow and pressure devices to a single computer for independent monitoring and operation. This remote monitoring saves time and money, especially in flow instrument installations where devices are a long distance from the control site. The BB9 will also distribute power to connected Alicat devices. In installations with more than nine Alicat flow devices, multiple BB9s can control up to 26 Alicat devices.
New from HBM is a series of prestressing sets for its CFW piezoelectric force washers to simplify integration of the transducer into an application.
For use in harsh environments where temperature extremes, high vibration and shock levels are present, Kistler Instruments has launched a range of small, versatile, high performance differential pressure sensors.
The design of the Type 4264A sensor is based upon proven Kistler piezoresistive sensing technology. A silicon sensing element is mounted within a high integrity seal assembly that is fully isolated from the pressure media by a welded 316L stainless steel or Hastelloy diaphragm.
Integrated surface mount electronics condition the output from the silicon sensing element and provide temperature compensation.
Additional electronic circuit boards can be added to configure the electrical output for a wide choice of voltage and mA outputs. As a result, the sensor can be factory configured to provide an electrical output to suit a variety of data acquisition systems. Additionally, noninteractive zero and span calibration adjustments can be provided.
