Cost effective & customisable

The new standard is enforced across Europe on 20th December 2020. After this date external products with only ‘60950 approvals no longer assume conformity to the low voltage directive for CE approval and an IEC/EN 62368-1 unit must be sourced.

The range comes in 7 output voltages available between 12 and 48VDC, other non-standard voltages are available quickly and without the need for expensive re-approval. For further flexibility low customised volumes can be ordered to help with the ramp up of growing projects. Class I & Class II (without earth) models are available, and a wide range of optional output connectors are available with customer specific connectors will be considered on request.

For larger opportunities incorporation of customer branding is possible, providing a truly professional look to your powered system.

Unusually for an external power supply, the EDT150 operates in ambient temperatures of up to 70°C. Typically competitor units only state operation up to 50°C, but thanks to the series’ reliable and efficient design the EDT150 still operates at extreme temperatures.

The units have a strong EMC pass to simplify design in or retrospective replacement of an obsolete ‘60950 approved product without the need for additional filtration.
