SPONSORED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS BECOME PERMANENT EMPLOYEES
09 October 2012
After sponsoring three electrical engineering students through electrical engineering degrees, Control Techniques has offered them permanent positions at its Newtown, Powys HQ. Iain Riddell, Daniel Galert and Mark Towers, were sponsored via the E3 Academy.
E3 Students receive a scholarship of £2500 a year during each year of their degree course, and are guaranteed an eight week summer vacation work placement where they earn another £2500. Control Techniques has been sponsoring students through university degrees for over 20 years, and in 2006 was a founder member of the E3 Academy, a collaborative scheme bringing together industrialists and leading UK universities.
