Hygienic sensing systems
27 August 2013
To deliver seamless protection against contamination in the most demanding environments SICK has extended its range with new Inox and Hygienic sensors and mountings.
The W4S-3H photoelectric sensor is reported to offer ‘best-in-class’ detection performance combined with a compact and rugged IP69K housing that withstands harsh hygienic, washdown, cleaning and disinfection regimes.
Hygienic variants of Sick’s Industrial Instrument range of LFP guided radar level probes; LFV tuning forks for level detection, PHT/PBS pressure and THT temperature transmitters also offer high-performance reliability and accuracy combined with compliance to the toughest hygiene, cleaning and washdown cycles.
