New from Panasonic Electric Works is a SC-GU Series communication unit that allows a range of Panasonic sensors to interface to Open Networks including CC-Link and DeviceNET.
The SC-GU3 series communication units allow various Panasonic Fibre-Optic, Laser and Pressure sensor products to interface to open networks – CC-Link, DeviceNET, and EtherCAT.
Up to 16 individual sensors can be addressed by each communication unit allowing reading/monitoring of digital and analogue values, modification of sensor setup parameters and a reduction in wiring and installation time
