Gill to display innovative design solutions

10 September 2013

Gill Sensors will be presenting its range of standard and customised sensor solutions alongside the design engineering services of Gill Research and Development, at this years’ Engineering Design Show.

Gill, a UK manufacturer of sensor solutions for harsh environments, will display its range of capacitive liquid level sensors alongside the latest range of Blade non-contact position sensors.

Using the novel use of patented induction technology, the Blade range represents a significant breakthrough in position sensing and answers the marketplace’s need for robust, reliable and cost-effective sensors.

Blade solid-state sensors have no moving parts providing excellent long-term reliability which is unmatched by other sensor types. The inductive sensors offer high resolution, capable of data sampling speeds up to15 KHz.  Already installed into industrial, motorsport, off-highway and defence markets, the inductive sensors provide highly accurate linear, angular and rotary measurement across a range of measurement zones.

As well as providing standard sensors, Gill is renowned for the ability to rapidly produce customised solutions in short lead times. These solutions have delivered high-quality sensors to an expansive range of industry applications.

Gill Research & Development, the award-winning design engineering consultancy, will also be represented on the stand. Specialising in delivering bespoke hardware and software solutions, Gill has established a reputation in military, defence, medial and other specialist industries with highly innovate product development services.  Gill Research & Development provide a one-stop shop for all engineering solutions and are involved in the full product lifecycle from initial concept design to manufacture.

The rapidly expanding solutions provider will also be advertising a variety of career opportunities at the show, seeking conventional thinking electronics, software, acoustics, aerodynamics, mechanical and materials engineers to join the Hampshire based company.
