British gear manufacturer drives up China operations

Renold Gears has moved its sales and distribution operations in China to a larger, improved facility, in Shanghai, following what the company describes as a steady and sustained increase in demand for its range of industrial gear units.
According to Renold Gears, growth in China has been strong not only for its standard products but also for custom engineered solutions. The move is in line with the company's policy of being close to all its markets around the world to provide the highest levels of service and exceed expectations in all areas of activity.
The new sales and distribution centre will provide customers in China with improved customer services and technical support and, it is reported, establishes Renold Gears as a major player within the Chinese market.
