Enclosures for control equipment

04 March 2019

Tough and highly versatile, Rolex’s new profiPANEL command enclosures offer an economic solution for housing machine control equipment.

IP 65 rated, profiPANEL can be mounted from the top or bottom on Rolec’s profiPLUS 50 suspension arm system or to a wall or machine housing using the optional 180 degree pivot bracket.

Thanks to a wide range of depths, profiPANEL can accommodate all types of displays and electronic control equipment. Internal rails using M4/M5 nuts allow easy mounting of the equipment.

The front of the enclosure is made to measure, offering almost edgeless flush mounting of a front plate (which is permanently connected to the housing). Front plate cut-outs for a display or switches are provided to customer specifications. The enclosures can be hinged with locks (for easy access) or bolted.

Rolex manufactures profiPLUS in customer-specified plan sizes from 150-800mm x 150-800mm. Eight depths are available: 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240 and 300mm. All the housings are manufactured from extruded aluminium with light grey (RAL 7035) polyamide corner covers.

Optional keyboard sections are available in standard depths of 60 and 90 mm. They are connected to the main unit by adaptors which offer plenty of space for routing HDMI or DVI cables.

Other optional extras include an ergonomic handle system, a keyboard and mouse tray and a wall/machine pivot mount with 180 degree rotation.

Customising options include CNC machining, bespoke colours, printing and engraving of legends and logos, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
