Designed for use in some of the harshest environments, Legrand has launched a new range of 316L grade stainless steel enclosures.
Atlantic 316L stainless steel enclosures are primarily intended for use in offshore and marine installations, where the material is commonly specified for its corrosion resistance. The range is also suited to other corrosive environments – in particular installations within the food and chemical industries.
The wall mounted range is Nema Type 4X, UL, CSA and Bureau Veritas approved; offers IK10 impact resistance; and delivers complete weatherproof protection as a result of its IP66 rating. Further more, all Atlantic 316L products feature upper and lower protective hoods and rounded vertical sides on doors.
The vertical brushed, 180 grain polished finish delivers yet another level of protection to the product.
