Fast Distance Measuring at 500M

Thanks to innovative laser technology, the FLS- C distance measuring device measures the absolute distance to an object with a fixed update rate of 200Hz.

The FLS-C distance measuring device has an accuracy of 1mm and a typical repeatability of 0.3mm. Distances up to 500m can be measured with target speeds up to 10m/s.

The device is designed to be suitable for both heavy industrial and outdoor applications. It is constructed of a solid metal case and provides class IP65 environmental protection. It is said to represent a cost effective solution even at extreme environment temperatures as low as -40°C. Applications for this sensor are wide and varied throughout industry. They include positioning and detection in high rack storage, gantry cranes, harbour equipment as well as in the steel and wood industry.
