M. BUTTKEREIT has launched a major upgrade to its DES CLEAN hygienic cable entry system, now featuring IP69K ingress protection – the highest level of environmental sealing against high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns.
Designed specifically for the stringent demands of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cleanroom sectors, the upgraded DES CLEAN system delivers both superior hygiene and mechanical performance.
The DES CLEAN system is based on the proven DES 24 frame, combined with a crevice-free, FDA-compliant polycarbonate cover, secured via co-moulded stainless-steel screws. The standout feature of the latest version is its certified IP69K protection, making it capable of withstanding close-range, high-pressure sprays at high temperatures – a requirement for industries with strict sanitation protocols.
Another critical advantage of DES CLEAN is its divisible (split) frame design, which allows for the quick and easy installation of cables with pre-terminated plugs or connectors. This feature eliminates the need to cut and reassemble cables, dramatically reducing installation time while maintaining the integrity of factory-assembled terminations.
