LEE SPRING TO SHOW NEW METRIC WAVE & TORSION

Taking the opportunity to interact with engineers at Southern Manufacturing from 15th-16th February, Lee Spring will highlight new metric product lines which bring the company's total stock range to around 19,000 spring product types.
"The world increasingly speaks one measurement language and that is metric,” comments Chris Petts, managing director. "Although our current catalogue and website displays our designs in both inch and metric, customers increasingly request more ‘hard’ metric designs and submit prints only in metric.”
The two new Metric lines feature over 350 Metric REDUX Wave Spring designs in 17-7 Stainless Steel and over 750 Metric Torsion Springs, in a choice of either zinc plated music wire or passivated 302/304 stainless steel.
Lee Spring has expanded the existing Metric Compression and Extension offering with designs that meet the physical parameters of the European Compression Standard (DIN 2098) and the European Extension Standard (DIN 2097). These additions are available in a choice of either zinc plated music wire or passivated 302/304 stainless steel, with the exception of compression wire sizes from .10 to .40mm, which are only available in stainless.
