The new Protector-MF from S+S Inspection has been designed specifically to provide the highest level of protection by detecting the smallest particles of both magnetic and non-magnetic contamination. The reject mechanism removes contaminants with minimum loss of good material, even at high rates of throughput.

As the detector is mounted directly above the material infeed point, the possibility of contamination of the feedstock after separation is eliminated. Protector-MF provides ‘last chance’ protection that minimises machine downtime and damage to moulds, nozzles, filters and hot runners.
