Schneider Electric acquires Itris Automation Square SAS

On February 1st, Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, announced the acquisition of Itris Automation Square.
Located in Grenoble (France), Itris Automation Square is an innovative automation company, specialising in advanced PLC programming tools, that will contribute to acceleration of the development of Schneider Electric Industrial Automation business.
“We are very pleased to welcome on board the Itris team” said José Bonomo, VP of Process Automation Control Activity. “Their expertise in PLC applications and code quality check will allow us to address the future requirements of Industry 4.0, and as such it will be a key technology of our EcoStruxure architecture.”
