Schneider Electric to host eXperience innovation event in Belfast
10 February 2014
Helping customers prepare for the digital future, energy management specialist Schneider Electric has announced that it is hosting its first ever eXperience innovation event in Belfast.
Taking place on Thursday 6th March at Titanic Belfast from 9am, the event will be hosted by a series of experts from Schneider Electric and will offer customers the chance to find out how they can produce more, while minimising energy usage.
Through a series of seminars, attendees will be given valuable information and advice on the role of Ethernet technology in transforming automated processes, the next generation of machine control and software, as well how technology can help to protect businesses against system failure.
Richard Beighton, vice president for the industry sector at Schneider Electric, comments: "With many manufacturers faced with the challenge of trying to produce more while using less energy, as well as competing with the increasing cost of raw materials, the need for greater operational visibility has never been greater.
"We know from speaking to our customers that many are keen to take the next steps in automating and digitalising their plants, however many are unsure of where to get the right information that will set them on the path to better efficiency and lower energy consumption.
"Our event has been designed to give end-users all of the information they need in order to make informed decisions about which solutions will work best for them, as well as what is achievable on different budgets.
"For any industry, avoiding costly downtime is of paramount importance; therefore we will be discussing solutions that can be easily integrated with manufacturer’s existing technology as well as new technology that can propel their plant into the digital future.”
Those who attend the event will also be able to explore Titanic Belfast and will be entered into a draw to win tickets to watch the Belfast Giants at the Odyssey Arena on 21st March.
