Compact drum pumps
13 January 2014
Transferring liquids from small drums, buckets and carboys using hand-operated, manual pumps can be a time-consuming and messy process; an easier, safer and more efficient method, says Michael Smith Engineers is to use motor driven drum pumps such as the Finish Thompson EF Series.

The EF series of sealless drum pumps are suitable for light to medium duty, transferring oils, detergents and other similar liquids at flow rates to 64L/min at discharge pressures to 6.1m.
Finish Thompson drum pumps are said to enable precise amounts of liquid to be transferred to smaller containers with less risk of spillage and help to eliminate the handling problems associated with heavy containers.
Tube length options start from 40cm for smaller containers, also 70, 100 and 120cm for most popular sized drums and 140cm for larger IBCs and carboys which typically hold volumes up to 1250 litres (330 gallons).
