HBM’s latest PACEline CMA5000/2 piezoelectric charge amplifier has a measuring range of 5,000,000pC making it ideal for safe and reliable measurement of large forces above 1MN although smaller forces in partial areas can also be measured rapidly and precisely.
The charge amplifier ensures secure measurement acquisition with piezoelectric force transducers using signal conditioning on analogue standard signals ±10V. The device is particularly useful where there is very little space available such as in test technology, assembly monitoring and function testing, or where measurement objects display high rigidity.
The CMA5000/2 features two calibrated measuring ranges over 100% and 20% of the nominal (rated) force enabling users to check obtained a detailed examination of overload-critical sections in addition to securely measuring partial load areas.
