Reliable remote access

The remote maintenance software is able to decode and correctly forward all the port numbers and IP addresses to internal port numbers thus allowing direct access to different S7 PLCs – while the project data remains intact and is not affected.

The software allows for transparent data exchange for both individual participants and entire network segments. Based on the port forwarding rules configured, the router automatically translates the port numbers and IP addresses (PAT, Port and Address Translation), so that several participants can be accessed from outside the system via the router's IP address.
