Custom connectors

As a ‘problem-solving’ supplier, ODU develops both connectors and packaging, to provide cost-effective solutions. For example, when a test equipment manufacturer wanted to take cost out of a new design that needed bulk-head connectors to handle mixed-signals ODU provided sub-assemblies with custom inserts for a standard push-pull connector.

Each insert incorporates two high-frequency coax with flying leads, plus a further 16 signal contacts PCB-mounted, with an SMT flex-foil to the main PCB. Stand J74
