High precision planetary gears

Gearing specialist Harmonic Drive UK will exhibit its range of high precision HPN planetary gears, which covers five sizes, with eight gear ratios from three to 31:1 and can transmit repeatable peak torques between nine and 752Nm.
With a backlash of just five to seven arc minutes, the gear series offers a precision solution for low backlash applications including industrial automation, packaging and continuous production environments.
"We developed our HPN gear based on this planetary design because it offers a high torque capacity with low backlash, making it ideal for high-volume industrial applications where a competitively priced, accurate gear is required.
