Lafert’s HPS and HPI permanent magnet motors maximise efficiency to save energy across a wide speed range. They satisfy both current European mandatory efficiency requirements (IE2 and IE3) and the future IE4 standard. As well as saving energy and cutting running costs now the motors also avoid expensive future motor-related machine re-designs.
The motors offer significant motor size and weight reductions – up to 50% - over standard similarly rated units, and offer between 3 to 4 times the power output of existing similar frame size motors.
The Lafert HPS (High Performance) motors are compatible with drives that have PM algorithms whilst HPI motors have an integrated drive.
