Stainless steel motors
31 July 2015
Stainless steel IP66 motors ideal for the food industry together with IE2, IE3 and IE4 compliant motors and examples of non-standard motor configurations will be exhibited by Lafert at the PPMA Show
Lafert’s ‘Marlin’ stainless steel motors are said to potentially save £1000s through reduced motor failures and consequent downtime and engineering costs. They are smooth bodied with no crevices/recesses to capture and harbour material build-up to cause hygiene issues. They will not rust and have no paint to flake off thereby minimising contamination risks. Being IP66 rated the motors can be high-pressure hose cleaned.
A range of stainless steel gearboxes are also available to complete the hygienic package. Stand A24
