Siemens opens new Customer Experience Centre at Congleton
04 July 2016
Siemens Congleton, which exports 98 per cent of its variable speed drives to 78 countries, has opened a new Customer Experience Centre to help it get closer to customers by providing solutions to support their future business growth.
At the new centre visitors can see how Siemens drives initiate productivity and innovation for industries across the world. The centre showcases Siemens‘ expertise in product development, manufacturing and customer service to help companies solve problems, make informed decisions and co-create to add value to their business.
Increasing digitisation in product and process development means people in all industries need to learn about best practices in order to future-proof their companies and to continue to thrive. At Congleton, the efficiencies Siemens has made to high performance motors in the 1.3 million variable speed drives it exports mean the company is helping reduce CO2 emissions by over four million tonnes per year.
Siemens Congleton has built a deserved reputation as a centre of excellence in many areas – exporting most of its drives, employing 500 people and becoming 5 per cent more productive every year. This latest development highlights how customers, partners and other interested organisations can particpate to make themselves more innovative, productive and flexible for today’s industrial challenges.
Andrew Peters, Siemens Congleton MD, commented: “We’re very proud of the ongoing success at Congleton, and this new Customer Experience Centre will help us to help many more of our customers, both existing and potential, around the world.“
