Aluminium enclosures
03 January 2017
Electrical enclosure manufacturer, Spelsberg, has expanded the capabilities of its TK series by adding new aluminium versions.

Available to date in polystyrene or glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate, the TK series' modular design, variety of sizes (from 50mm x 52mm to 360mm x 254mm and with three cover heights) and comprehensive accessories means units can be configured for many different applications.
Internally the aluminium enclosures are dimensionally identical to the plastic originals, but they are very slightly larger on the outside due to their greater wall thickness. This means the new units have an upgraded impact rating of IK09 (protected against 10 joules impact, equivalent to impact of 5kg mass dropped from 200mm), rather than IK08 (5 joules).
