Power supply variants
14 February 2017
Two power supply ranges from WAGO provide additional functionality to suit a wider range of applications such as vending, slot and coffee machines, as well as heating controls and ventilation systems.

Epsitron Eco offers a robust power solution for 24 VDC applications where control cabinet space is at a premium. It conforms to EN 60335 and features a robust metal housing and can be mounted on a DIN-rail, or screw fixed horizontally, vertically, or overhead.
The power supply provides a wide input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC. This flexibility allows a mass-produced machine to be operated on different power networks in Europe, America or Asia with no need for conversions or modifications. In addition, its high input voltage range means increased tolerance to voltage fluctuations, leading to high reliability.
Voltage availability is indicated via a green LED, while a red LED indicates an overvoltage. This simplifies start-up and provides maintenance personnel with a clear indication of system or machine status.
The redesigned Classic power supply is slimmer than previous generations and offers up to 93% efficiency. A temperature range of -25 to +70 °C makes it suitable for applications including building automation, process control and industrial machines and equipment. Ranging from 25 to 960W, the CLASSIC power supply provides 12, 24 and 48VDC nominal outputs. The power supply is universally compatible with all standard power grids found worldwide.
The optional integrated TopBoost function provides a brief power surge in the event of a secondary short circuit or overload by multiplying the nominal current, thus ensuring effective secondary side fusing via traditional low cost circuit breakers for improved safety.
