Two-hand controller
23 February 2017
Intended to reduce the risk of injuries that result from contact with machinery, Thorite has launched the IMI Norgren Two-Hand Control Unit.
Injuries as a result of a hand in the wrong place at the wrong time simply wouldn’t be possible if the Two-Hand Controller was installed, as both hands are needed to simultaneously press two buttons within 0.5 seconds in order to activate the machine.
The easy to install Two-Hand Controller takes the place of whatever was previously used to activate the machine – i.e. lever, foot-pedal, button etc. It complies fully with the latest European Machinery Directive requirements of ISO 13489 and EN574 class IIIB and is tamper-proof due to the robust nature of its construction. The entire unit is delivered complete and carries a two-year warranty.
