LAPP strengthens its position in intralogistics and industrial automation
26 May 2026
AS INTRALOGISTICS systems become faster, smarter and increasingly automated, the role of industrial connectivity has never been more critical. From robotic picking systems and automated warehouses to high-speed conveyor technologies, reliable power and data transmission now directly impacts productivity, uptime and operational resilience.

German connectivity specialist LAPP is responding to these evolving market demands with a new generation of industrial connectivity solutions designed for highly dynamic automation environments.
The company is expanding its portfolio with hybrid cables combining power and data transmission, high-flex robotic cabling and pre-assembled plug-and-play connection systems that simplify installation and improve system reliability. These developments are aimed at helping manufacturers and logistics operators manage growing levels of automation while reducing downtime and maintenance complexity.
One of the latest additions is the ÖLFLEX® ROBOT range, engineered specifically for demanding robotic applications involving continuous torsion and 3D movement. Certain variants withstand up to two million bending and torsion cycles, making them suitable for intensive industrial use.
LAPP is also strengthening its industrial Ethernet offering with the ETHERLINE® ACCESS U Entry Level switches. Available in Fast Ethernet and Gigabit versions, these unmanaged switches are fanless, maintenance-free and designed for robust industrial networking environments.
According to LAPP, sectors such as intralogistics, infrastructure and energy storage continue to drive international growth. The group reported consolidated sales of €1.93 billion in fiscal year 2025 and continues to invest heavily in production capacity, connectivity technologies and automation solutions worldwide.
With operations in more than 80 countries and a portfolio exceeding 50,000 products, LAPP is positioning itself as a key global partner for manufacturers seeking reliable, scalable and future-ready connectivity solutions for automated industry.
