The KS98-2 features a 3,5-inch, capacitive color touch panel in a standard ¼-DIN format. The clear structured user interface helps to navigate to the information of interest. Combining various functions like PID control, limit supervision, logic control, data monitoring, alarming and math calculations. Interactions between the tasks can be programmed as well. The compact all-in-one devices are lowering engineering and installation cost and save panel space.

The flexible I/O architecture allows to exactly compile the mix of In- and output-signals needed. 

Up to date communication interfaces are supported to embed the unit into wider automation and plant management infrastructures.

Programmable screen dialogues allow OEMs to improve the user- interface of their installations substantially. In other words, text and data are now replaced with images and icons to allow for quick and efficient use.

Using the graphical function block editor KS98-ET the right mix of standard and sophisticated functions can be wired up with the flexible set of in- and outputs as required by the individual application.
