Turning cyber compliance into resilience

27 May 2026

SolutionsPT, AVEVA Select Partner UK and Ireland, has announced the return of its annual Cyber SecureOT conference for 2026. Held over two dates in both the UK and Ireland, this year’s theme ‘Turning Compliance into Resilience’ will focus on helping industrial organisations navigate the recent changes in cyber security regulations and standards while protecting operational technology (OT) environments against evolving cyber threats.

As industrial businesses face increasing regulatory pressure from NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act, and the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) 4.0, Cyber SecureOT 2026 will explore how compliance can move beyond a tick-box exercise and become a driver for improved visibility, reduced risk, and more resilient operations.

Lee Carter, industrial cyber security product manager, SolutionsPT says: “This year’s Cyber SecureOT conference spotlights one of the biggest challenges facing industrial OT teams today, compliance. As cyber attacks become inevitable and regulations tighten, organisations are investing time and effort in compliance but seeing little return in terms of security. Attendees at this event will gain insight into using compliance as a practical tool to reduce risk and strengthen resilience. It is a real must for operators who want to keep facilities running safely.”

The programme will feature talks from subject matter experts at Claroty, TXOne Networks, Ofgem, Cyolo, Octoplant, and Tenable, alongside cyber security specialists from SolutionsPT. Through keynote presentations, technical sessions, and practical workshops, attendees will gain real-world insight into turning regulatory requirements into actionable OT cyber security strategies.

Key topics include:

  • How controlled change management keeps systems stable, traceable, and audit ready.
  • How to use continuous monitoring to prove compliance and spot issues before they become incidents.
  • Applying security standards in a way that works with industrial operations, not against them.
  • Turning incident reporting and threat hunting into evidence that informs a defensible cyber resilience case.
  • Managing third-party and supply chain access without losing control of your secure environment.

Regulations in the UK and Ireland and Europe have changed multiple times since the beginning of 2025, the most recent being the Government’s Cyber Resilience Pledge that was announced at Cyber UK April 2026 in Glasgow. Cyber SecureOT will show how OT teams can apply the updates to make actionable and manageable change, rather than treating them as a checklist of administrative tasks.

Cyber SecureOT 2026 is designed for engineers, operators, and technical managers responsible for securing industrial systems and maintaining operational resilience in increasingly regulated environments. Spaces are limited for both dates, and free registration is now open.
