Automotive assembly line refurb
16 June 2014
Two assembly lines at MINI Plant Oxford have been refurbished recently by The Automated Technology Group. Acting as main contractor for the project, The Automated Technology Group delivered not only some major mechanical refurbishment but also a complete controls upgrade to the new BMW PL7 standard.

Explains Matt Challinor, senior project manager for The Automated Technology Group: "The project was completed well within the planned schedule, with no performance issues whatsoever and both the mechanical work – undertaken by sub-contractor, LB Foster – and the control systems have been approved by BMW.
"Our long experience in the automotive sector, technical expertise and excellent project management skills combine to make The Automated Technology Group a very attractive partner."
