Chain specialist iwis has introduced a new generation of Elite chains. The re-development of the range has focused on improvements of production techniques, tolerances, raw materials, lubrication and lifespan. Tests within iwis’ laboratory found that the lifespan of Elite chains could be improved by over 50%.
The comprehensive range includes British and American standard roller chains in carbon, stainless steel and nickel plated options. Conveyor and attachment chains are available from the UK and can be produced to order. A large range of British, American and European leaf chains on stock in the UK services the UK and European market.
Andrew Fletcher, operations manager with iwis drive systems in Tipton, says: "The range satisfies most conveying and transmission applications.
