Andon system in kit form
13 April 2015
In Lean manufacturing terms Andon refers to any visual display that shows status information on the plant floor. The AndonBOX & Light Kit from Werma contains all the necessary components to create an Andon system.

The system can be used to indicate line status, show when a supervisor or engineer is required, or allow operators to stop production for quality issues. A 24V system, it allows up to 4 light tiers to be switched.
The mains power supply has interchangeable adaptors for EU, UK and North America, and has a 100-240V input range making it suitable for most countries.
Manual work stations, assembly lines, packing and despatch lines can all benefit from this easy to install manual call for action system.
