07 October 2015

Specialist in precision cold forming, Dawson Shanahan, will be showcasing its full cold forming and machining capability at Advanced Engineering 2015.

Experts will be on hand to explain to visitors how Dawson Shanahan can develop component solutions that offer real technical and commercial benefits to businesses operating in aerospace, automotive, medical, power generation and more.

The Welshpool based company has recently installed two Locatelli Meccanica hydraulic CNC presses, enabling it to enhance still further its impressive cold forming service offering. The new presses remove common tooling restraints and are suitable for manufacturing components for almost any application. Thanks to quick changeover times and high reliability, the presses have boosted Dawson Shanahan’s component output and deliver high quality product.

"Advanced Engineering 2015 is the ideal event to discuss our full range of cold forming and machining capability with existing and potential customers. The show was a great success last year so we’re looking forward to seeing what this year’s event has in store,” said Les Reeves, joint MD at Dawson Shanahan. "Visitors can learn about our new presses, which have enabled us to not only increase our capacity, but also improve still further the efficiency of our production process, much to the benefit of our customers.” Stand J5
