Custom replacement

When a British company needed quick delivery of custom replacement for a failed compressor drive, with a suitable stock unit at hand, Menzel Elektromotoren was able to mechanically adapt a foot-mounted motor and ship it within three days.
The new motor was equipped with a special flange and support in Menzel’s in-house metal-working facility. The standard motor feet were milled to include a recess that ensured an exact fit of the support in the customer’s facility.
As per the customer’s specifications, the selected high-voltage motor features 560kW rated power, internal fan cooling (TEFC / IC411), and IP55 ingress protection. It was thoroughly tested in Menzel’s in-house load test field prior to delivery.
