Electronic floor pedal
22 March 2016
Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial division has launched the WM-558, an electronic floor pedal that uses a non-contacting, Hall-effect sensor that can be programmed for analog output and/or integrated switches.
The new pedal – designed by the Corporation’s legacy brand of Williams Controls – is highly EMI resistant (SAE J1113 compliant), features IP68 and IP69k sealed electronics and can be customised with contact or PWM output sensors.
The WM-558 floor pedal is constructed using die-cast aluminum and high-strength composite plastics, designed to suit numerous mounting options and available with a standard treadle angle of 35 or 45 degrees. Operating force is between 17N (idle) and 45N (full travel).
