Electronic floor pedal
04 April 2017
New from Curtiss-Wright’s Industrial division, the WM-558 is an electronic floor pedal that uses a non-contacting, Hall-effect sensor that can be programmed for analogue output and/or integrated switches.

The new pedal – designed by the Corporation’s legacy brand of Williams Controls – is highly EMI resistant (SAE J1113 compliant), features IP68 and IP69k sealed electronics and can be customized with contact or PWM output sensors, making it ideal for all commercial vehicle applications.
The WM-558 floor pedal is constructed using die-cast aluminum and high-strength composite plastics, designed to suit numerous mounting options and available with a standard treadle angle of 35 or 45 degrees.
Features include: product life of 3 million travel cycles; operating force between 17N (idle) and 45N (full travel); and operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C
