Single wire sealing

The recently introduced binder HEC (Harsh Environment Connector) now has a single wire sealing kit for fitting to the rear of panel mount connectors suitable for sealing signal wires up to 1.5mm2 (AWG 16) and power wires up to 2.5mm2 (AWG).
This ensures that the rear of the connector inside the panel is sealed to IP67 and provides effective protection against humidity on the connection side. Initially available for the eight-pole versions, this will shortly be extended to cover the 12-pole versions.
The series 696 HEC connector series is a true outdoor connector, is sealed to IP68, IP69K with excellent resistance to UV, temperature fluctuations, acid rain, salt spray, ozone and other pollutants.
