Northern Manufacturing & Electronics 2016 returns for 4th year
24 August 2016
Northern Manufacturing & Electronics, the free-to-attend industrial technology show, returns to EventCity, Manchester on September 28th and 29th. Now in its fourth year, the show has once again gathered an impressive range of exhibitors, promising to be an un-missable show for designers, manufacturers and engineers from across the North.
The exhibition is the younger sibling to the well-known Southern Manufacturing show, focusing primarily on the northern and western regions of the UK, including Scotland and Northern Ireland. Though it follows a similar format to Southern, over the last three years the Northern show has developed a distinct character of its own thanks to the predominant engineering activities in the region. Most notably aerospace, automotive and public transportation.
In addition to an impressive line-up of machinery manufacturers and vendors, the show encompasses almost every conceivable aspect of industrial plant and equipment. Robotics and automation, sensors, enclosures, test equipment, optical inspection, hand tools, storage and countless others will all be on show. Technology trails lead attendees around the show, helping them to make the most efficient use of time.
The show’s free seminar programme that runs over both days of the event, gives the opportunity to join industry professionals from a wide variety of academic and commercial backgrounds share their insights on the important topics affecting manufacturing; some of the topics covered include developments in 3D Printing, Industry 4.0, Best Practice in Manufacturing, Lean, R&D Tax Credits and much more.
