Digital drives

The recently upgraded PL/X range of digital DC drives will be showcased. With 2Q / 4Q drives rated up to 2250Amps / 980kW, the PL/X features an all-new DSP processor capable of executing 16-bit x 16-bit in less than 135ns. Overall, this provides 10x-improved bandwidth together with an improved resolution analogue reference input.

Sprint Electric will also be exhibiting the JL/X range of digital AC slip ring motor controllers. Based on the world-famous PL/X hardware platform, the JL/X provides an ideal retrofit platform to improve performance of large AC slip ring motors up to 975kW on a wide range of applications such as cranes, hoists, printing presses, elevators, compressors, lifts and pumps.
