NORD invests in Mexico

On its tenth anniversary, NORD Drivesystems S.A. de C.V. Mexico opened a new, larger assembly plant and office in Huimilpan, in the state of Querétaro, Mexico.

The new facility is one of five assembly centres of the international NORD Drivesystems Group in North America. The grand opening was attended by 100 visitors, distributors, OEMs, logistics partners, and end users from all over the country. Jose Luis Aguilera, Secretary of Labor of the state of Querétaro, represented the state governor.
Talks covered topics such as future expansion plans for the Mexico and US operations, a growing presence in Latin America, and NORD’s history both in Mexico and globally. NORD Mexico has experienced continuous growth, with a 70% sales increase since 2012 alone.
