Cable protection for system critical applications
14 March 2017
Flexicon will be showing its range of flexible conduit cable protection solutions including its new world leading Flexicon Ultra fitting for applications where on-going continuity of power and data is critical, from its stand FO2 in hall 16 at Hannover Messe.
Says Tim Creedon, sales and marketing director for Flexicon: “Flexicon Ultra has been developed for applications where the loss of power or data would have serious consequences resulting in downtime, loss of revenue and possible penalty clauses. In today’s interconnected world such a loss can often affect far more than the equipment connected.
“When you consider that cabling can face multiple hazards, that might include water and dust ingress, corrosion, exposure to oil, grease and chemicals, impact resistance, vibration and many more, then getting the cable protection right is vital.
“As a UK manufacturer we can respond to a customer’s needs quickly both in terms of delivery and also with technical support and advice. It also means that we are on hand to develop bespoke solutions for customers when needed.”
Also on show for the first time is the company’s new hygienic range of flexible conduits, which have been developed to make cable installations faster, simpler and safer for food, pharmaceutical and other applications requiring clean and hygienic environments.
The company has over 60 different flexible conduit solutions available as standard.
