Small linear axis for large tasks
22 March 2017
Small, light and flat, when used in combination with the dryspin high-helix threads, the low-profile drylin SLN-27 linear axis from igus not only carries out simple handling tasks; by implementing a stepper or DC motor, it can also handle high-speed sensor adjustments.

The drylin SLN-27 is based on the low profile linear guide system drylin N with a rail width of 27 mm. The materials and the design make drylin N a cost-effective and flexible guide system.
The guide rail is made of sturdy, anodised aluminium. With its compact dimensions, 22 mm in height and 28 mm in width, the linear unit is particularly suitable for confined spaces. Due to the plastic plain bearings in the lead screw mountings and guide carriages, the system is self-lubricating and therefore maintenance free.
