Siemens strengthens Large Drives network through strategic partnership with Indrico
20 April 2017
Siemens has extended its Partner network across the UK through a strategic partnership with Indrico, which sees the distributor appointed as a UK Drives Technical Partner for its Large Drives products and solutions.
This new partnership means Indrico will provide sales and technical support to end users and OEMs in the industrial drives market, with a particular emphasis on higher power SINAMICS low voltage variable speed drives, both AC and DC.
Wherever possible, Indrico will look to provide the full drive train, capitalising on Siemens’ well established Integrated Drive Systems initiative which, offers significant optimisation possibilities when combining SINAMICS drives with the wide portfolio of Siemens’ motors, couplings and gearboxes.
Julijana Ristov, business manager at Siemens UK & Ireland, says: “The appointment of Indrico as a Drives Technical Partner is significant to Siemens. It means we have an even wider network across the UK of drives competent partners who, for the first time, hold significant stock of low voltage industrial SINAMICS drives to ratings up to 560kW including G120P, G130 and DCM chassis-built product. Furthermore, Indrico offers in-house technical support for these products, which is a significant addition to our own sales and support resource.”
Siemens Large Drives develops, manufactures, and markets industry-specific products and solutions, including LV & MV converters and motors for high power drive systems and provides a wide range of after-sales lifecycle services.
