Selector switch

The switches combine distinctive haptics (tactile sensation and control) for intuitive HMI control with a wide range of high-specification functions for demanding machine operation. A wide range of choices and options are available: Red, yellow, green, blue or white Series 45 devices are available in metal and plastic with two, three or four switching positions, up to eight contact configurations and a choice of short or long lever actuators providing momentary or maintained actions. All Series 45 selector switches are available with optional illumination.

Series 45 selector switches provide a high degree of IP69K protection, with actuators and indicators resistant to industrial cleaning agents, oils, alkalis and other aggressive chemicals.

According to Robert Davies, EAO UK's marketing manager, these versatile and highly reliable selector switches offer a service life of up to 1 million switching cycles in operating conditions ranging from -25 to +70°C.  "An anti-rotation device and innovative snap-on design guarantee fast and easy assembly without the need for special tools," Davies said.
