2040 accumulating pallet recirculation system

Designed to provide cost-effective feeding, buffering, positioning and separation of workpiece pallets, the SPU 2040 is particularly effective when linking multiple workstations operating at different cycle or changeover times. Its intelligent design enables countercyclical operation through automatic pallet recirculation, ensuring a continuous and efficient flow of materials throughout the production process.

The system uses a flat top chain conveyor to transport workpieces mounted on pallets to the workstation. Once the workpieces have been removed, the empty pallets are automatically transferred onto a return section beneath the conveyor and transported back to the loading point. This eliminates the need for a second conveying level, complex lifting and lowering mechanisms, and additional manual or automated pallet handling.

One of the SPU 2040's key advantages is its compact footprint. Compared with many alternative systems, it requires significantly less space while also providing improved ergonomics for operators loading and unloading components.

The modular design offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing the system to be configured as a single-lane, dual-lane or double-lane solution to suit different workpiece sizes and weight distributions.
