ABB’s Robot Podcast returns
18 November 2021
RETURNING FOR a second season, ABB's Robot Podcast will see a weekly panel of experts from industry, media and academia look at the cutting edge of robotics, analysing how advances in automation are benefitting society and businesses, and what the future holds.
The new season kicks off with Episode One on 17 November and looks at how everyday technologies have evolved over the last ten years; how robotics and automation will revolutionise the decade to come; and how AI and robotics can be an accelerator for industries worldwide.
Across six entertaining episodes, a wide variety of societally relevant topics will be discussed by the panel of assembled experts and commentators. Robotics in construction and education; the game-changer that is digital twinning; and the current retail revolution lead by automation – The Robot Podcast shines a light on all these hot topics.
Fran Scott, a regular contributor to the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK, returns as host. Scott said: “It’s great to be back presenting another season of The Robot Podcast. Over the next six weeks, myself and a team of experts will investigate the cutting edge of robotics and automation, as well as what it means for us and the way we live our lives. From major changes in the way we shop, to our search for sustainable solutions; a shifting workforce to the increase in digital simulations – we’ll explore it all in a way that makes sense to our growing gang of listeners.”
